Israel Beytenu head, Knesset Member Avigdor Lieberman  responded today (9.4.08) to the terror attack in Nahal Oz, which claimed the lives of two Israelis by saying that the "murderous terror attack in Nahal Oz could have been prevented had the government stopped the fuel and electricity supply to the Gaza Strip."

 Lieberman continued, "The government needs to disengage from Gaza as I've said before. The Involvement of members from the PLO in the attacks, necessitates that Israel to treat it as a terror organization."

 Meir Eindor, head of Almagor, an organization representing victims of terror commented, "Instead of the Palestinians paying us for fuel that we provide them, we pay them with our blood."

"The time has arrived for the government to halt this farce surrounding the fuel shipment issue and declare in the coming months that no further fuel be shipped to Gaza."
