Rotem: "Canceling the conversion of thousands of converts is scandalous"

Israel Beytenu MK David Rotem, responded to the decision given this week by the Rabbinic High Court saying "This proves beyond a doubt, that the Rabbinic Courts are not interested in advancing conversion in Israel. The submissive stance of the government on the issue is scandalous. The law must be changed to allow city rabbis to perform conversions."
